One of the main benefits of sports massage is to help the athlete prevent injuries and loss of joint mobility by releasing muscle tension and restoring balance to the musculo-skeletal system.

Enhancing the performance of the athlete
Sports massage plays a major role in the athlete’s preparation before an event as it can improve performance and endurance by removing the build up of general aches and pains. It also stretches muscles, tendons and fascia which surround the muscles (tissues that cannot be reached by other means).
